Established in 1980,
China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation Shanghai Company(CATIC Shanghai) is a strong conglomerate integrating technology
and industry with trade. It is a subsidiary wholly owned by CATIC mainly
managing import and export business, and also involving in warehousing,
freight forwarding, real state, hotel and industrial investment.
Being the window of Aviation Industry of
China(AVIC) in Shanghai, CATIC Shanghai plays a key role in shipping and
forwarding all of the aero products and equipment of AVIC through
Shanghai port.
From mid 1980s, CATIC Shanghai started its
international trade business, fully taking advantage of technology and
expertise in designing, manufacturing,quality control and sales
experience of aviation sector, which was a strong promotion to our trade
development. Besides, CATIC Shanghai has set up some joint ventures and
cooperative enterprises that was a foundation for our upcoming
development.
Since 1990, in accordance with the nation's call
to Open and Develop Pudong, CATIC Shanghai was the first to explore
Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and WangQiao Industrial Zone, and has three
industrial bases together with Xianghuaqiao Industrial Zone in the west
suburb of Shanghai.
Since
February 2000, the quality management systems of our international trade
for consumer and industrial goods have been assessed and
registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9002, certified by
SGS Yarsley International Certification Services.
